Nebraska Pork Producers Association is a grassroots, incorporated, non profit organization established in 1961.

Mission

To advance Nebraska’s pork industry by uniting producers of all sizes, promoting trusted production, developing talent, and connecting with consumers and decision-makers for lasting success.

Vision

Nebraska Pork is the trusted voice and proactive partner for Nebraska’s pork producers. We create conditions for success by shaping smart policy, amplifying Nebraska’s leadership, fostering strong relationships, developing the next generation of industry leaders, and sharing the story of high-quality pork that strengthens communities and feeds the world.

National Pork Board

Nebraska Pork Producers Association, in affiliation with National Pork Board, works to promote the pork industry through the enhancement of consumer demand, producer education, and research.

Today’s mandatory pork checkoff is at work for pork producers. U.S. pork producers and importers pay $0.35 per $100 of value when pigs are sold and when pigs or pork products are brought into the United States.

National Pork Producers Council

Nebraska Pork Producers Association, in affiliation with National Pork Producers Council, works to influence policy on local, state, and national levels.

Today’s voluntary pork checkoff is at work for pork producers at a rate of $0.15 per $100 of value when pigs are sold.
