Chef Brandon Harpster of Lincoln has been honored with the NPPA’s Outstanding Pork Service Award for Promotions. Brandon, a Nebraska City native, owns three Lincoln restaurants, including The Single Barrel, Bourbon Street and Mulberry BBQ. He actively serves the NPPA through the Star City BaconFest, conducted exceptional “carcass cutting experiences” for NPPA’s Mentor and Leadership programs and has worked with Jane Stone, NPPA’s domestic marketing director for on pork education for Pro-Start instructors through the Nebraska Restaurant Association. “NPPA sincerely appreciates Chef Brandon’s input, participation and assistance whenever called upon,” said NPPA President Darin Uhlir
