Eligibility:
1. Award given to an individual.
2. Nominee must be 18–40 years old at the time of nomination.
3. Must be actively engaged in pork production in Nebraska as an owner, operator, contract producer, farm manager, or employee.
Selection Criteria:
1. Demonstrates leadership potential in Nebraska’s pork industry.
2. Contributions to the Nebraska pork industry through leadership, management, education, research, or operational excellence; adoption of progressive pork production practices.
3. Contributions to NPPA through leadership, committee or Board service, event participation, and volunteerism.
4. Contributions to community and civic service.
5. Other awards or recognitions related to pork production and agriculture.
6. PQA Plus certification and environmental stewardship record, if applicable.
