Eligibility:
1. Pork producers, families, or operations in Nebraska demonstrating exceptional commitment to environmental stewardship.
Selection Criteria:
1. Commitment to environmental stewardship through compliance, responsible manure management, water or energy conservation, and other sustainable practices.
2. Participation and length of participation in the National Pork Board We Care Sustainability Report
3. Adoption of new technologies, processes, or approaches to improve sustainability (manure management, nutrient utilization, energy efficiency, etc.)
4. Leadership in promoting sustainable practices within the farm, community, or industry; mentoring or influencing others
5. Demonstrated measurable improvement in soil, water, air quality, or biodiversity; meaningful conservation outcomes
6. Nominees PQA Plus certification and environmental stewardship record if applicable.
